Tallinn Map Art

Tallinn's medieval Old Town sits on a peninsula jutting into the Gulf of Finland, its street grid following the steep topography of Toompea Hill. From above, the Pirita River cuts eastward through the city, with the port sprawling along the northern waterfront where ferries run to Helsinki. The newer districts fan southward in orderly blocks, while Kadriorg Park's tree-lined geometry and the green belt of Nõmme's villas create pockets of vegetation breaking the urban layout.
