Abu Dhabi Map Art

Abu Dhabi's map shows a rigid orthogonal grid imposed on the coast, with the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque anchoring the western peninsula and the Emirates Palace sitting on reclaimed land. The Corniche curves along the Arabian Gulf in a sweeping arc, defining the waterfront, while Al Marjan Island and other artificial islands punctuate the shoreline. Inland, the grid dissolves into the desert, with Sheikh Zayed Road cutting south toward Al Ain as the main arterial escape.
